Pours a amber-orange color with a very modest flicker of foam in the Orval chalice. Faint aroma of tea and cereal. More flat than sudsy in the mouth and of course quite watery in body. This just tastes green and grainy with a very slight bitterish twang in the aftertaste. I wouldn't call it a Dark mild, but it's mild in any case. I'm all for Milds, but this one is off-kilter for my taste buds. Still, it's worth a quaff if you're interested in the style as I am. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station.
