Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the Maredsous goblet. Crisp and adequately carbonated. Inviting aroma of grain and wood chips. Taste is malty but with a bitterish finish. The touch of sweetness brings out some green melon fruit flavor. Overall this is extremely quaffable and quite flavorful for such a light beer. Aftertaste is increasingly bitter, though. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 03/05/25 so it's quite fresh.
