Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. I believe the date stamp says canned 9/26/25.
Appearance: yellow-golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam atop, leaving a good lace on the glass as it dissipates.
Smell: sweetish malt with an aroma that has passionfruit, orange, and some dank pine. It's good, but for me didn't quite come together as well as I might have thought. Good, but not great.
Taste: the flavor has a similar character to the aroma, but is a little bit earthier and danker, with a definite citrus zest kind of thing going on. There's some hop burn here, too, that doesn't entirely work. It's not bad, but it's kind of rough around the edges.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I want to like this beer more than I do -- I think maybe some more sweetness to help offset the bitter citrus rind and overall dankness would have helped, maybe. Like I said, not bad, but not my favorite hazy for sure.
