On tap at the taproom.
Pours very dark. Faint hints of amber, but mostly black colored. The head is tan colored. No lacing on the glass.
Nose is fairly faint. Hints of dark fruit on the aroma.
Taste - the beer actually starts off light, and crisp for a fraction of a second. The beer then goes full on dark fruit, and cherry, and these flavors keep building on the back. The cherry flavor has a tartness that hits on the way back.
Decent full body. The start doesn't seem full, but it does fill out nicely.
This is a delicious take on the style.
