We are excited... this is our first Back Shed barrel release! Paunchy and Left Eye takes a quick rest in a Four Roses Bourbon barrel. It only took six months and Paunchy rounded out with notes of wood, bourbon, vanilla and toast. Here's hoping it's the start of many more barrel projects here at Back Shed!

Pours pitch black with a tan head that had some retention.
Nose has vanilla and chocolate notes. Some barrel notes.
Taste - the beer has notes of chocolate up front. The back is where barrel notes kick in.
Creamy smooth body.
Tasty and a bit of an update from the base beer.
