On tap at the brewery.
This is a fairly murky beer with a faint bit of clarity at the bottom of the glass. It is golden in color with a tint of orange to it. The head is white, and has some sticky lacing on the glass.
Nose is very full of citrus, but it is more than hop citrus, it is actual citrus. Lots of lemon and grapefruit aroma here with tropical hop notes. I also get a faint hint of yeast in here. Pleasing.
Taste - the actual fruit, grapefruit and lemon hit right away, and linger. They do fade a bit and the tropical nature of the hops come through. The bitterness on the back is from the hops and the actual fruit, which is quite interesting.
The feeling from this beer is interesting. It has a decent body. The hops provide a feeling, but so does the lemon and grapefruit. The bitterness and tartness from them just don't quit.
This is a damn interesting and delicious beer. I could see how it could go wrong if the balance is wrong, but it is so right here in this beer.
