Fellow BA (and Regensburg resident) Stahlsturm and his lovely wife were kind enough to bring me here for a bier at a nice, out of the way brewpub. Had a 0.5l bottle of this while chatting...
Pours a lovely, clear copper color! A thin, white head tops things, and sticks superbly in the glass. Aroma is bready and toasty, with suggestive sweetness, all the while be quite inviting. Solid medium body, and no rough-housing on the tongue at all.
Has a good amount of caramel and toasty malt flavors... a lovely combo which caresses the palate. Ends with more than a bit of floral hoppiness (Stahlsturm says this brewery hops their biers a bit more than other area brewers). A very tasty offering. Quite so! Easily Maßable!!
Zum Wohl!!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
