I had this beer poured from tap into a cute squat glass at the brewery. It is a slightly murky yellow color with excellent head and lacing. This is a very interesting and tasty beer that is a nice treat, but probably not something for regular consumption. I believe that this beer does not use hops so it may also qualify as a gruit.
The beer has a very herb and floral smell and taste. Very rustic in taste and feel. I enjoyed the beer and will look forward to trying similar beers when next visiting this brewery.
