Had this in June, writing the first review for this Next Glass database in December over 1,000 miles away. Credibility would prevent a belief in traffic not being down bad.
Pours golden with decent clarity, 1/3" white head that quickly dissipates. The Columbus hop gives a nice forest meets outdoor weed angle. Amarillo contributes the citrus hay effect, Simcoe just icing up those forest notes in tandem. Its one of those older school hop aromas that still hits.
The taste brings every aspect of the nose to the palate, these are mostly dual use hops says I, so it makes sense that everything in the nose contributes appropriately in both the taste and mouthfeel. Orange rind, hay, lemon, pine, weed, pinon, golden waves of 2 row barley. The mouth feel is nice and crisp and light. Makes sense as a session ipa for the course. I guess they have one at the place but you have to sign in and waive gross negligence or something like that.
