More likely to blow your head off. Like, literally! This hazy ipa has no filter and gives 0 ***, just as the queen of hearts. Treat her like you would any queen.

8/16/24 - (Can - Home) (Chicago, IL) Can Notes: Obtained via a 7/19/24 trade with David, @doctorzombies on Beer Advocate. 16 oz undated can. 6.2% ABV. Brewed and canned by Prison Pals Brewing Company, 8302 NW 14th Street, Doral, Florida.

Brewery Tasting Notes: More likely to blow your head off. Like, literally! This hazy IPA has no filter and gives 0 ***, just as the queen of hearts. Treat her like you would any queen.

Appearance: Murky unfiltered golden base, creamy white head leaves generous lacing and a very thick creamy cover and clumpy lacing. Can spot consistent mild plus carbonation. 4.0

Aroma: Strong aroma, citrus, grapefruit and peach. Drawing me in. 3.75

Taste: Consistent with the aroma, a juice box blend of citrus and grapefruit, light tropical fruit backing. Nice. 3.75

Mouthfeel: Drinks easy, consistent with the ABV. Medium pillowy body, gentle to slightly fizzy carbonation, near balance with bitterness helping contain any excess sweetness with the strong sweet fruit flavors. Mild hop burn, citrus grapefruit finish. 4.0

Overall: This is a good NEIPA style which held up well for at least a month since I obtained. Enjoying the flavors, would seek others from this brewery as a result of this experience. Thank you David! 4.0

16iz can from Delaware Growler. Hazy yellow golden pour, thin, tight white head. Tropical aroma with stone fruit notes. Taste is juicy, fruity, ripe fruit. Dry finish.

Undated (WTF) can into snifter. Pours a pale hazy gold with a brief off-white head. Not much lacing. Initial impression is muted citrus, grapefruit, perhaps some peach, and a bit of mango. Mouthfeel is medium. Finish fades to slight citrus sweetness. Meh.
