Yep - brown, maybe copper. decent off white head, a bit choppy and a bit of lacing.
sugar malt comes thru in the scent, as does some earthiness, some burnt toast, maybe even ripe apple.
Appropriate sweet maltiness hits right out of the gate, some sweet spice, almost cinnamon. heavy carbonation leads to a fizzy finish, with the sweet and ready toast flavors fighting to maintain. Enough battering hops to classify as an American brown. Generates a bit more complexity than its wicked inspiration.
Love finding room in the fridge for an American brown and this one fits the bill.
