A very decent beer for a great price. I poured this from a can purchased at Lidl. Nice rich brown color, decent head, mild aroma and a moderate mouth feel, but the taste is above average for beer in this price range. Nice notes of toffee in the malt base, complex and a nice bitter finish. I will buy it again.

Look- Quite dark chestnut brown, clear, pours nicely with a one finger white head.
Smell;Nothing distinct, just slight malty.
Taste: earthy roast hints, with crisp slight sweetness, like cold piece of toffee taste.
Feel- fresher and dry, not expected as previous reviews mentioned carbonation seems present, making it slightly refreshing, but still cosy ale to enjoy.
Overall: not bad at all for the price I paid, enjoyable. Might get a couple more.

L- Quite deep chestnut brown, clear, pours with 1cm off-white head.
S- Slightly toasty malts, subtle.
T- Coffee is prominent for me, as well as deep roastiness. They combine for a pretty full-on flavour.
F- Starts quite rich, ends very dry indeed. The mouth adjusts after a few sips. Highly carbonated, perhaps more-so than it needs. It is refreshing.
O- This is 4.3% presumably so the duty/tax is helps lower the price for this Lidl beer. I say that as the overall profile of this beer would be more natural (to me) around say 6-6.5%
Bought from Lidl. 500ml bottle. No BB visible anywhere on the packaging,
This beer is brewed by Shepherd Neame, BUT the lable doesn't name them. Rather is states 'Hatherwood Craft Beer Company', BUT that made up name also covers a Lidl beer brewed by Marstons: It's confusing! I reckon that's intentional, these are budget-brewed beers and these top league brewers who are prodicing them likely don't wish a clear/direct connection to be made for all to see,
