Appearance:
Murky orange-amber, moderate lacing and thin but permanent head
Aroma:
Holy basil, fresh-baked yeast rolls and apricots/nectarines
Flavor:
Herbaceous, Mild bready/grainy and fruity flavors
Mouthfeel:
Moderate mouthfeel, low CO2 but nominal for style, powdery
Overall:
If you like the flavor and aroma of New Zealand hops you will adore this lush, crisp yet subtly fruity/sweet and herb-forward ale. The hop character takes me back to my early days of homebrewing in the mid 1990's with ingredient kits imported from NZ (Black Rock).
