Enjoyed from 16oz can with no date code.
Named after the Red Owl grocery store that occupied the breweries spot in the past, I truly do remember the red owl store being there.
Look, dark red body, reddish amber body when held to the beer light, slight haze to it. Nice tall head, that leaves some lacing.
Smell: Bread, sweet malt, hint of floral hops,.
Taste: Smooth slightly sweet malt, bread, hint of caramel. The hops come out more as it warms, the hops are floral and maybe a micro hint of citrus & herbal. No off flavors. This beer is about the malt, the hops are secondary.
Feel is solid not thin, low carbonation in the beer after the pour.
A good beer easy drink'n I will give it a 3.92/5. Not the most complex beer.
