Served in shaker. Poured a clean and clear ruby-brown color with 2/3 of an inch of medium tan head that had moderate retention and lacing.
The aroma was slightly sweet malts, with just a touch of floral hops.
The flavor profile was fairly similar, but came across the palate a bit sweeter.
The body was smooth and even, and had a somewhat sweet finish.
Drinkability was OK, but the sweetness really built over the glass, and I wouldn't want 2 in a row.
Overall, a slightly below average version of the style. If it were drier it would have been more enjoyable.
