Served in shaker. Poured a lightly hazy honey-gold color with a half-inch of white head that had low retention and OK-ish lacing.
The aroma had light, semi-sweet grains and very light and floral hops.
The flavor was the same, but even sweeter than the scent, and much sweeter than is usual for the style, with some nice grains coming through.
The body was noticeably full for the style, smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish that lingered.
Drinkability was OK, but that sweet finish didn't have reaching quickly for another quaff, as better examples do.
Overall, a slightly below average version of the style. Try it or don't.
