Handsome clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the pint shaker. Pleasant spritz on the tongue. Aromatic with something herbal and woody. LIght body. Oddly sweet with a cereal taste. Flavor is not bad but I don't find any trace of oak, unless it's that grainy flavor. In any case, after a few sips it becomes undrinkably bitter, alas. On tap at the brewery restaurant. They were brewing on a Saturday night.

Served in shaker pint. Poured a clean, clear coppery-amber color with a thin cap of white head that had no retention or lacing.
The aroma had the typical malt base of the style, topped with some very gentle hopping. The oak was light in the nose.
On the tongue, the story was much the same, with the oak being stronger and more notable.
The body was fairly typical; medium, smooth, and with a sweet finish.
Drinkability was, I only had a few minutes before my bus, and a quick quaff was no trouble.
Overall, a solid and enjoyable brew. Worth a shot if you see it.
