Freefall Brewery

Interesting brewpub/ pizzeria combo, exterior looks brand new, interior is a richly woodwork blast from the past, with massive wood beams and plank counters. Straight bar perpendicular to the entrance on the right seats about 10, with a couple different areas with tables and booths and a few tables on the porch. 18 beers on tap. Friendly bartender. The chicken wings were small but good.

awesome new spot in bozeman here, a cool addition to an already popping brewery scene. this is both a brewery and a pizzeria, like two businesses under one roof kind of deal, but its the same folks i guess, kind of a family restaurant vibe with lots of dining rooms throughout the place and a big staff of people waiting tables, at least as much about the food as the beer in here, but i did not eat, good smells though, maybe next time. i sat at the bar, which was run efficiently by two gentlemen who both seemed to have a real passion for the beer operation, although neither was the brewer. i had a couple of real solid beers in here, including a hazy rye ipa, a hoppy amber, and a scotch ale. i was less stoked on a rather generic pils, but they seem to have a pretty good thing going in the brew house, which you can see from the parking lot all shiny and new looking. some basic styles and a little wrinkle of innovation on their list, which appears to be constantly evolving. this place was fun, great service, bustling atmosphere, solid beers, im sure they will do well. sounds like they have one opened up in billings as well.
