Nice black, thick, inky and oily, nice brown head lingers, some lacing, nice. Nose gets some coffee, choclate and berries. Thick, creamy feel. This quickly became my favorite porter.

Color is dark, black looks like a black glass of coffee. Smell is sweet and chocolatey. Taste chocolatey caramely. Feels silky smooth going down. I enjoyed this beer.

Muddy black color, roasted malt on the nose, more of that plus hint of chocolate and coffee taste, deep and rich though the overall mouthfeel is on the thinner side. My first beer from them and am impressed. This is my wheel house for a porter/stout of this ABV and worthy to have alongside my other go-to's such as Founder's Breakfast Stout.

Jet black, two fingers of mocha foam that settles after a few minutes.
Milk chocolate and medium to dark roast coffee aromas, tiny bit of malted milk candy minus the sweetness.
Roasty and chocolatey flavors, dry with a very light astringent bite from the roast malt. Dry finish with a smooth lingering roastiness.
Medium bodied but on the lighter side. Supple feel, creamy texture to the foam, light carb. No sweetness thankfully. Clean and easy to drink. Overall this one is a winner.

Canned 7/26/22; drank 9/24/22 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a HUGE dark tan head; strong, tree-rung lace.
Fresh earth, mild dark chocolate & faint red berry notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium thick mouthfeel.
Fresh earth & mild dark cherry flavors up front; a HINT of red berry on the finish. Booze heat emerged as this warmed.
A robust, well made porter. I'd have another!

Had on tap. Pitch black body with a two fingers of khaki foam before settling down a finger, light lacing abounds. Smell and taste are the same, though taste is deeper with the dark elements: dark chocolate and caramel malt meets earth, smoke, char, and a hint of dark grains. Feel is a little light for an imperial porter, but has the edges of rugged chewiness and smooth malt to carry the beer well enough. Nice debut
