They're back! Perhaps they never left though - the West Coast IPA, the one that started all the hop rage, is a bitter beer with loads of hop bite and character set against a malt backbone. In ours a little Munich and Vienna provide that combined with the Pale malt, with a pinch of Crystal malt for color. The Citra and Cascade hops for bittering and flavor/aroma, respectively, give the drinker exactly what they are expecting - an orgasm for the mouth. Finished off by a solid dry hop and additional hop oils for good measure, this beer is a hop-gasm. John McClane would be proud!
