really tasty beer here, a cool introduction to this new spot, although not all that farmhouse style to me, its delicious either way, and very authentic on both fruits. its got a lovely color, soft lavender purple to pale pink, a little thicker looking from the tap, hazy, and without a lot of head after it settles for a minute. the nose and taste are similar, with tart blueberry and acidic lemon out front making this mouthwatering, smells a little more sour than it actually drinks, some raw sort of wheat behind the fruit, and a lot of minerals. i get a little sweaty lactic thing in the nose, cleaner in the flavor, not particularly salt forward to me for a gose, but i suppose thats the source of the mineral profile this presents. i like how much blueberry this pops with, tannic and sweet and a little jammy but real to me, nice on top of the fluffy wheat base. this is better carbonated than it looks like it is, but still lacks expert level refinement to me. cool recipe though, neat summer offering, and something that has me excited about this little upstart operation, looking forward to drinking more of their stuff! cool as a fruited sour, less impressive as a gose, but there is a lot to like here.
