Thanks, Chris. 20 months in the bottle have been kind to this beer. The nose is just stunning. Opening up with warm fermentation notes with yeast and spice, with the warm, fruity notes complementing the jammy notes of the Syrah really well. The more earthy, tannic notes from the Malbec grapes form a firm undercurrent. On the palate, this beer is so harmonious, so well-integrated, with the warm, fruity esters and delicate sweetness from the fermentation and malt bill pairing beautifully with the grape additions. Shockingly confident and balanced , this is top tier stuff. Brilliant.
