I tried this IPA twice this summer and it was undrinkable both times. It had a strong, weird, yeasty off flavor -- tasted like something had gone wrong with the batch. The first time I stopped by and picked up a growler on the drive north, but didn’t have a chance to drink it so it sat in our fridge for a few weeks. When I actually tried this IPA while having dinner at Hobbs Tavern, it had an off flavor -- everyone in our group who ordered it (or tried it) agreed something was wrong with it, and no one finished their glass.
A couple of weeks later, my wife and I opened the growler from our fridge hoping we’d had a bad batch at the restaurant and that the growler would be drinkable. Unfortunately, the beer in the growler had the awful, strange, off yeasty flavor. Four of us tried it, and we all agreed it should be dumped down the drain, which is what we did.
This beer should not have been served to customers -- it’s either a really bad beer, or was a bad batch and the brewers at Hobbs Tavern need to improve their quality control.

This beer should have never been served. Bad yeast flavor throughout, muddled appearance.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
