From the 2020 batch. Sampled Feb 4, 2021.
Attractive reddish hue with good clarity and a modest mocha head.
The aroma is delightfully malt forward with an array of raisins, plums, cranberries, and figs and only a slight booze sensation.
A heavier body but smooth.
The taste begins with this sort of ashy, woody malt sweetness and then there is the tartness of the drak fruits leading to a warming and slightly lingering finish.

Enjoying a 12oz tulip pour at The Flight Center in Nashua.... $7.00...
Color is a deep, clear, garnet mahogany, with minimal carbo. Head is fine and thin, mostly some off white bubbles near the rim with a touch of lacing. Aroma has some caramel and brown bread, with a hint of florality. Nice and smooth, the body is medium all around.
Flavor, like the nose, has brown bread and caramel malts, with mild sweetness. Has hints of rum soaked fruit cake at times, with a touch of florality in the finish. Not bad, all-in-all.... Prosit!

On draft at the source.
Pours clear copper with an off-white head and nice retention.
Aromatics are a blend of mild citrus and light caramel. On the fuller side of medium bodied. Tacky. A bit sweet on the palate with a bitterness that shows up late and moderate hopping otherwise. Finishes with some lingering malt and bitterness.
More of a strong ale, lacking boozy or warming character.

Poured into a 16 oz snifter on draft at the brewery. Pours a gorgeous chestnut red, with a 2 inch off white head that leaves plenty of patches of webby lace.
Smell is caramel, toffee, sweet bread, brown sugar, and piney grapefruit.
Taste follows sweet upfront caramel, toffee, bread, and brown sugar upfront with a hit of piney grapefruit and warming alcohol in the finish.
Mouthfeel is almost large, creamyness, moderate amount of life and not complaining, a tad dry, and at 8.7% ABV dangerously drinkable.
Overall this is really outstanding, keep a eye out for this young brewery.
