Pretty hazy, orange hues inside the golden liquid. White foam cap, spread out with intricate lacing.
The nose has a jumbled aroma of orange citrus and pine, sweet tropical fruits busting out of the Mosiac, Azzacca and Chinook hops.
A crackery malt backbone holds down the fat display of hop play. Lager-ish and grainy malt makes sense after the super juicy taste and feel of the hop side.
Light to medium bodied, with earthy graininess and juicy ride later on.
All in all, I like this AIPA with it's more grounded and old school approach. Yet, totally juicy. Did I make that clear?

Poured into a glass out of a 16 oz can.
Smells almost aggressively herbal, piney, and hoppy. No fruity (traditional IPA) smell whatsoever. Tastes malty initially, with a very hoppy/herbal and slightly bitter finish. This beer isn't my favorite IPA by any means, but it has a unique aroma and flavor. I'd consider buying it again

From the 12 fl. oz. can with no date seen. Sampled on November 21, 2018.
It pours a sort of juicy, pulpy looking pale yellow with an opaque appearance and a moderate, fading head. Lacing.
Inviting aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, citrus, and an herbal quality. A muted toasted bread character too..
The body is around medium. Fairly smooth.
Mildly sweet beginning in the flavor but then the citrus and fruity hops jump forward to take it over. Yet, it still feels balanced.

Poured on draft at The Union Diner. Pours a very cloudy darkish yellow, with a finger of sticky white head that leaves behind some nice thin streaks of lace.
Smell is guava, passionfruit, tangerine, pine resin, and grapefruit rind.
Taste follows very tropical and balanced with just a little pine and grapefruit bitterness in the juicy finish.
Mouthfeel is about medium, just the right amount of life moderate, not dry in the slightest, and very drinkable at 6.5% ABV.
Overall this is a very nice New Engandest IPA, definetly some hazy and tropical fruit, with a little bitterness. Hobbs is impressing much more often these days.
