A: The beer is hazy amber yellow in color - it's too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down but never completely faded away and has good retention properties.
S: Moderate aromas of orange citrus hops are present in the nose along with hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste has flavors of orange citrus and caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This is definitely an old school APA and has a solid malt backbone as you would remember from the early days of craft beers.

Draft at the brewery
Decent fizzy bubbly head, decent lacing, hazy golden color

Nose nice citrusy floral hops, little stone fruit, orange, grapefruit pith, grassy hint spicy

Taste big fresh hop, like fresh hop cones, citrus, little pine sap, fruity, little grassy floral, chewy almost briny, almost no malt, drier finish, very bitter spicy finish

Mouth is med bod, decent carb

Overall not bad, but not enough malt and hops didn't impart the characters I expected

From the 12 fl. oz. can with no date shown. Sampled on July 21, 2018.

The pour is medium amber-copper with a foamy white head and a very slight haze to it.

The aroma has a nice, sweet white bread crust character and floral hops.

The mouthfeel is medium to full, which was a pleasant surprise.

There is a nice balance of sweet breadiness and a mildly bitter floral hop finish. Refreshing.
