Savage Brewing Company

A very small taproom in an older strip mall. The music was very good lesser known indie rock. The two tiered 4 beer tasting flight was a confusing layout, as I got half of them mixed up. The lady at the taps did a good job serving. The atmosphere is quite basic and so is the beer, on average. Liked their annual imperial stout the best.

I visited Brewing Savage a few days ago and quite enjoyed the place. They're located in the former location of Flycaster brewing and have been open about a year. It's a small spot with a nice wood & concrete taproom and a little bar that seats about 4. Service up at the bar is great!

They had 7 of their own beers on tap plus a relatively large selection of wine and guest cider. There was a reasonable selection of styles given the relatively few taps; the helles lager particularly stood out to me as a good choice. I can definitely see myself returning here; the atmosphere is really friendly and I'll look forward to seeing the beer develop over the coming years.
