A big, bold imperial stout brewed with almonds, vanilla beans and cocoa nibs. Rich, roasty and strong.

On tap at the brewery's taproom in Clemson, SC.
Appearance. The body looks essentially black and opaque, and just a thin bit of brown appears even in bright sunlight.
This is a relatively bitterand hoppy imperial stout. I was expecting a sweeter brew, especially given the vanilla additive. I'd probably like it a tad sweeter but those who find the style to be generally too sweet should like this. I couldn't detect almond flavor but this stout has plenty of roasted nut notes, alongside a rich mix of dark grains and spicy hops.
