A light gold beer brewed with great care using barley malts and just the right amount of hops to give the beer its smooth, balanced taste and style belonging only to a beer of superior quality. This beer is particularly light and refreshing.

I tried this beer at the brewery whilst in the area on Biznet. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had hints of yeast and faint citrus. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with slight citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

Done well for the style. On tap at the brewery--first beer after engagement!

From notes

Very light color with a thin white head. Some bubble showing a touch of activity. The nose has a touch of hay in there its ok. The taste is just lame and watery, just flat there isn't anything there nothing really special it's a beer that seems targeted at the macro drinkers and it just doesn't do the style any justice.

I sampled this beer on location. The pour was a hazy golden to lighter amaber color. Good head retention that remained around the edges and left ok but limited lacing.

The aroma smells German in a way. A decent overall smell that brings good grainy smells. Some what of a touch of a yeasty smell but limited.

The flavor is mostly malty with basic pale malt taste and not much else. Somewhat of a skunky aftertaste but nothing too extreme like diacetyl. The hops are noticeable up front. A good noticeable bite at first with a citrus and herby taste. But the taste quickly goes away.

The body is light and a high carbonation leaves a zingy texture. There is a chalky almost filmy aftertaste that really is a deterrent to this beer.
