Beautiful amber color, firm, dense head with good legs and cling.
Lovely balanced aromas of sweet orange, crushed evergreen needles and rich caramel malt.
Very malty up front, toasted nuts in toffee followed quickly by resinous pine and grapefruit flavors from mid boil hops.
Very tasty and great to have traditional hop flavors in the middle over rotten fruit and concentrated citrus so ubiquitous these days.
The medium body makes for an easy to drink classic IPA with solid back end bitterness that is not harsh in any way.
The finish is long on hop character with hints of pepper on grapefruit bite.

Picked up a four pack of cans at Luke's Liquors in Plymouth,Massachusetts for about eighteen dollars. My first brew from these guys. Just of for me. Would not buy again.

It tastes more like an APA, in fact oddly reminds me of the old Sierra Nevada pale ale. Which is ok. But not a west coast IPA that it claims to be. The flavor hits with pine and resin, fades out quick but lingers that last bit. Tropical twist that west coast and hazy ales have, it claimed to have but is not noticable. Drinkable but no rush to get more.
