Golden color and clear. Modest head that leaves an initial ring of lace but little else afterwards.
Pale Pilsner malt start to the smell. There’s a lack of hop bouquet. My first sniff picked up off smells of stale beer but subsequent whiffs didn’t catch that at all.
The malt holds up but the hop is notable and balancing. The body is appropriate while the carbonation is a bit higher than expected. The finish is balanced while the the aftertaste lingers as lightly spicy (white pepper).
