Had this late night (for them) at Rare Barrel during SFBW 2022. Its a collab from this neighborly brewery and Green Cheek in Socal. Surprised to be the one adding the beer to the database 6 months later. I'll write a review too because I'm not a total sociopath.
Pours a yellow gold brass like appearance. Not clear. Not really hazy either, just lightly cloudy, probably a big Citra dry hop impacting a small brewery. Had a run of the mill of Citra going for it. You know the drill, orange, tangerine, grapefruit. Strata adds a dimension, but its a light weed guava passion fruit edge. Citra seems in much higher quantity.
The taste has an almost lager or foeder like impact, or maybe both. Something different to this one. Carbonation fine out the can. There is a mild yeasty woody presence, like they took some of the orchard grove with them. Bitterness seemed peaked out around the 50 ibu level.
It was a decent beer, prolly would have liked it more if I didn't already satiate the palate with the double/triple ipa festival earlier that day.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
