Jet black, opaque & still with a wavy tan head that's foamy & thick, sitting just over 1cm tall. It's dark with lots of roasted notes, chocolate malts & an earthy coffee bitterness. The taste is quite rich, lots of chocolate malts, dark malts & caramel with the coffee again quite pronounced. It's light-medium & quite lively, with good carbonation & a subtle tang to it.
