Dank, herbal, and citrusy. A hefty malt backbone compliments the absurd amount of hops used and there is a slight warming sensation from the alcohol content while remaining smooth.

On tap at Strange Design Brewing and Public House in Geneseo, NY.
This one pours a clear dark orange-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells mainly of marijuana, which makes sense with the name of the beer. There’s also orange peel and bitter resinous pine.
I’ve only had a few beers from Strange Design so far, and this is honestly the best one I’ve had yet. It’s a really solid sort of older school Vermont/East Coast IPA, with a slightly malt backbone, some pleasant dried stone fruit and grapefruit, and a very resinous, dank, and marijuana-esque bitterness to it.
This is medium bodied, not all that boozy, with a pleasantly buzzy bitter finish.
I haven’t loved much from this brewery yet, but this one really did hit the spot.
