Upside is exploding with juicy grapefruit, peach, and tropical hop flavours. This New England style IPA has a hazy appearance, soft mouthfeel, and balanced bitterness which allows the vibrant dry-hop flavours to shine. Bursting with fresh citrus hop character, this tasty IPA is on the up and up!

Nice floral aftertaste. Definitely fruit forward. It's strong (6.8% alc./vol) so watch out!

Looks are all in the right places. A little haze, a little citrus, a little pine, a little bight at the end of the taste. A little thin where it should be juicy. Surprisingly, The aroma and taste don’t match well enough.
Still a very good beer!

At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. My second beer from the Guelph, Ontario brewery, and first for 2025.

I got a can of this beer from The Beer Store in Fort Frances, Ontario whilst there for my son's hockey showcase. It poured a clear golden with fizzy white head that dissipated quickly and did not leave much lace. The scent had subtle grain and subtle bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp malt base with grain and hints of bitter orange presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Kind of pineapple colour, little foam and minimal lacing, but nice hazy colour and mild aroma. It is a fresh tasting IPA - sneaky way to drink for 6.8, a solid effort from Wellington Brewery, I may have underrated, but I’ll come back to try level all my ratings by beer tyoe once I hug SVS more under my belt.

Look: Cloudy pale to medium yellow. Pours with a rocky white head 2 fingers. After 5 minutes the head has settled to a 1/2 finger across the top of the glass.
Smell: Strong with pineapple, grapefruit, biscuits, and floral notes
Taste: Juicy, cantaloupe and peach at front end. A little dusty and bitter with a bit of alcohol taste at the end.
Feel: Silky, creamy. Plays at the top of the palate and front of the tongue taste buds, with a little bit of tart bitterness at the end.
This beer grew on me the warmer it got. Started off straight out of the fridge and while the look and smell were great the taste was a bit flat. Openned up as it warmed up. This earns a B+

Got this one at the LCBO this past summer
From a 16oz can into a snifter
IBU: 58
SRM: 6
APPEARANCE: Pours a two finger, fluffy, medium looking white head with good retention. A little foamy, perhaps. Hazy and cloudy amber orange with no carbonation evident. Head gets really foamy and then eventually fades to a thin wisp and clings to the glass. A faint wisp remains remains leaving touches of lacing down the glass.
SMELL: Tropical fruits, passion fruit, mango, pineapple and peach aromas. Aromatic for sure.
TASTE: Some fruit notes with mango, passion fruit and honeydew melon up front. A bit of alcohol at the swallow. Bolder and lingering finish of passion fruit, some melon, piney bitterness and a touch of booze.
PALATE: A touch lighter in body with medium carbonation. Creamy but a touch foamy as well, goes down fine and finishes a bit dry. Some bitterness lingers.
OVERALL: Well, what the? Surprisingly good for a Wellington brew. I hate to be a jerk but normally Wellington beers are barely palatable, and other times they’re plain lousy. This one is actually really good and I’d gladly have it again. It’s perhaps a bit too bitter and boozy for a NEIPA, but this is otherwise quite enjoyable. Recommended.

Not an east coast IPA - slightly haxy gold with a thick head. Light slightly dank aroma of tropical fruit and citrus. In the mouth these clash somewhat and there is a slightly metalic tang.
