Boris is part of the UVB-76 Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout Series aged for over 4 months in first use Kentucky Bourbon Barrels. Boris is super smooth, rounding out this robust imperial stout with the addition of hazelnut flavour and vanilla bean.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large deep brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some bourbon, vanilla and black chocolate with light hazelnut notes also perceptible. Taste is a nice mix of roasted malt with some sweet residual sugar notes, some hazelnut, vanilla and bourbon notes with some creamy sweet black chocolate notes. Body is full with somewhat of a creamy texture with good carbonation and light subtle warming alcohol notes. Very well brewed and quite enjoyable.
