Golden coloured with a 1 inch head with nice lacing The smell is hoppy and metallic. The taste is bitter and hoppy but also a tad too boozy for my liking. When you drink this beer you certainly know it’s high in the ABV department.

473 ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for around $4 CDN. Packaged Feb 20, 2020.

Appearance - Hazy rich golden colored brew with a finger plus of loose white head. Modest staying power and a small soapy collar remains for a long while. No lacing to speak of.

Smell - Juicy citrus, mango and grapefruit and candied pineapple mostly. Rather sweet aromatics.

Taste - Quite sweet and juicy, mango and pineapple most prominent here. Bordering on too sweet, a touch of grapefruit does real it in at the end. Booze is pretty well hidden initially.

Mouthfeel - Medium-heavy bodied, quite sticky and carbonation is light. Drying finish from the booze. You can feel the booze afterwards and the slight burning sensation as it runs down your gullet.

Overall - A pretty good DIPA, a touch too sweet to balanced and not a beer I'd want to repeat in a single sitting but enjoying just one is pretty easy to do. Worth a try especially if you like juicy DIPA's, this certainly provides that.
