I bought a can at the LCBO in Ontario 473ml at 6.9%.
Poured a 1finger head into glass.
Not much of lace as you drink and yes there is alot of sediment floating around in my beer .
Smooth creamy tea and beer taste and tropical fruit. Flavors
Low to a medium bitterness.
Overall a little different with the chai tea.
But it was good .
Cheers

Pours a nice gold colour however there is a lot of sediment floating around, not at the bottom but all throughout the beer. Looks somewhat like curdled cream. The smell is classic chai, cinnamon cardamom and black tea. The taste is chai also, no sign of the advertised blackberry though. Not a bad flavoured beer, appearance notwithstanding

2,200th review. 473ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO purchase for about $3.75 CDN.

Appearance- hazy purple/red brew with a finger of quickly receding off pink head. A few bubbles are visible and the sparse lacing leaves nothing of interest behind.

Smell- some earthy bitterness, tea like qualities plus a healthy dose of blackberries, other wild berries and possibly some grapefruit.

Taste- middling bitterness heavily influenced by earthy undertones but with tea like qualities coming out some berries and again hits of grapefruit in the undercurrent.

Mouthfeel- medium bodied, not really juicy, wig middling carbonation and some hints of slickness to close.

Overall- decent flavoured IPA, with good balance however the flavour profile isn’t necessarily a fit with my tastebuds, so I appreciate the chance to try a creative new beer for a milestone review, I don’t foresee myself coming back to Duck Dive with any frequency.
