I've always thought of this as a middling brewery despite their history as an early innovator in Ontario. I simply don't find their beers very interesting. Just low end, low effort "craft" stuff. And every now and then they come up with a genuine stinker, like this one. The stuff is actively unpleasant without any particular redeeming qualities. It close maybe to a hard cider in its general characteristics, but is overall harsh and artificial and honestly, not really worth dissecting here. They've done better, but this ain't it. Not even good as a novelty brew. Harsh on your innards. Hard pass.
