At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From my favourite LCBO at Tecumseh Mall in nearby Windsor. Canned June 16/25. My 6th beer from the Guelph, Ontario brewery, and 5th for 2025. Exquisitely embraced by Sundae the cat...

473ml can served cold into a chalice. LCBO purchase for around $4.85 CDN. Canned June 16, 2025. Double White IPA with Sabro, Strata and and Bru-1 Hops.

Appearance - Hazy rich golden color, orange almost. A finger plus of foamy white head is poured. Head retention is modest but a nice curtain of lacing is left behind.

Smell - Vaguely citrus with a stone fruit accent, a touch of coconut and a berry undercurrent. Lots going on, not all of it is cohesive.

Taste - Orangey with some bitterness. Initially sweet with a pinch of banana and cocount coming through, then the orange turns on, bitterness ramps up.

Mouthfeel - Quite full bodied, carbonation is modest, but this is dense drinking, one of the least crushable DIPA's I've had, but that's probably for the best. Some astringency and invigorating bubbles in the close.

Overall - A quality DIPA, good and interesting flavor combinations I'm just not sure how cohesive this is with a dense body and 8%. Probably a better sipper for the fall or early spring than something to be slammed in the heat of mid-summer.
