Pours a ruddy, amber-brown with a thin, soupy, khaki-colored cap that quickly settles into a messy crown.
Leather, cola, toffee, caramel and distant plum, cocoa and pipe smoke in the aroma.
Similar flavors in the taste, but with vanilla, cherry and moderately-strong alcohol heat added to the mix. There’s also a slight herbal note and hint of earthy bitterness. Caramel-vanilla is the most prominent characteristic, though.
Very slick, silky feel with a light carbonation and some chewy heft to it.
They hit this one out of the park. Excellent blend of old school depth and new school sweetness in this.
