Coconuts Rising Over Caramel Horizons is a Munichwine, aka barleywine brewed with the richer Munich malt as a base. This beer spent 26 months in bourbon barrels, developing its flavor. With a judicious addition of toasted coconut, cacao nibs and caramel, we sought to highlight the prominent flavors already in the base beer.
