I visited Potlach a couple days ago on a lovely rainy afternoon. They’ve got a welcoming but unpretentious taproom with a good view out onto Hood Canal, and a back deck with picnic tables that I bet are great when it is not actively raining. The brewhouse itself is in the garage behind the taproom. The bartender I talked to was friendly.
They had 11 beers on tap on my visit, with styles including oyster stout, imperial stout, 2 IPAs (hazy and non-hazy), brown ale, pilsner, Mexican lager, barrel aged raspberry sour, American lager, Vienna lager and Belgian dark ale. With the exception of the Vienna lager, which just didn’t work for me, all the beers were pretty solid. I’d definitely stop in again if I was cruising along Hood Canal.
