this place is great, in this tiny little towns downtown strip right off the road between bozeman and helena, you have to make a point to stop, blink and you miss it kind of place, but its cool they have this little brewery here, and lucky for the citizens of this town, the beers are great. these types of places can be hit or miss, but this was impressive from a quality standpoint, whoever is making the beers is clearly competent, and its a fun place to pop into for a cold one. from the front it looks like an old western saloon or bank or something from the frontier era, but inside its cozy and even kind of modern on the inside, minimal, long and narrow, with all the production in the back must be, a very humble taproom with just a handful of tables, the place is bright inside with the afternoon light coming in. a modest but thoughtful selection of drafts to chose from, i had a really good strong oktoberfest lager, and a simple but well refined wheat beer, both ahead of the curve in terms of quality and it made me keen to try the rest of them, which i will do when i pass through here again. very solid beers. the service was friendly but low key, not a remarkable part of my experience here. mellow relaxed vibes, smart beers, small town charm. recommended.
