Impressive four-finger initial head. It dissipates slowly in a rocky fashion. Some 3D lacing on the glass. The liquid looks like deeper straw. Clear.
Raw grainy nose, nearly barnyard. It smells like the wet, spent grain of a brew.
Richer body than most pilsners, but the carbonation is touch higher. The flavor is a notable improvement. The graininess, while still present, is far less obtrusive. The remainder of the malt flavor is soft like expected. The hop is more directly bitter than the style typically gives. The beer is lacking softness but the flavors are balanced.
