Citrastatic pours a tantalizing yellowish-orange hue, reminiscent of sunsets and ripe citrus fruits. Immediately, a thick malty backbone makes itself known, setting the stage for an intricate dance of flavors. It's not long before vibrant citrus notes burst forth, evoking images of freshly squeezed tropical juices.

The hoppy overtones are undeniable, yet they meld seamlessly with the citrus elements, neither overshadowing the other. This harmony is a testament to the beer's exceptional craftsmanship. At 8.5%, this double IPA ensures a robust and full-bodied experience, but its strength is cleverly masked by the juicy freshness and the hoppy zest.

The use of Citra Incognito during the whirlpool process is a masterstroke, resulting in a cleaner, less vegetative profile while still retaining the intense hop character. The subsequent dry hopping with fresh Citra hops only amplifies the beer's allure, bringing to the forefront the true essence of this renowned hop variety.

Citrastatic is a celebration of the Citra hop - a double IPA that manages to be both powerful and refreshing, complex yet approachable. It's a delightful journey through a world of citrus and hops, proving yet again why Citra reigns supreme in the hop hierarchy.
