Brewed with American and Continental Malt, and a healthy amount of American Wheat. Spiced with chamomile tea, sweetened with organic honey, and balanced by all natural vanilla.

This beer is almost clear and tinted honey/amber (SRM 6-8). A rocky, off-white head collapses from half an inch to hold at one quarter inch for the duration. Occasional carbonation can be seen within, while minimal lace is left on the Pretentions Glass Company snifter.
Mellow Mood smells distinctly like cream soda. Sweet whipped cream and vanilla dominate.
The sweetness from the aroma is equally present in the flavor. Unsurprisingly, it also tastes like cream soda. There is no fruity quality as would be expected in this style. The finish is long and mild with a light bitterness in the end.
It is full bodied with a slick, oily texture. Alcohol is light and lifted by soft, prickly carbonation. There is a mild astringency.
Despite having little resemblance to the intended style, this is a tasty and enjoyable beer.
