Hef's Smoking Jacket

I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white head that did not leave much lace. The scent had a smokie presence with very subtle clove notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle smokie malt base and gentle clove and banana flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
