Indian Wells Silver Sun has an extremely thick, spongy, whipped cream-type off-white head, heavy lacing, a mostly clear, golden appearance, fierce bubble streams, and load of big, tan chunks roiling about and powdery, tan sediment suspended throughout. Aroma is sharp, alcohilic, tangy, pungent, husky, and candi sugar sweet. Taste is the same, with citrus, lightly-roasted barley malt, stinging yeast, white pepper, a touch of hop bitterness, coriander, white pepper, and a ghost of celery. Mouthfeel is light to medium and prickly, and Indian Wells Silver Sun finishes dry, champagne like, and completely odd. Did they accidentally pour Celis Grand Cru in this bottle? Very weird stuff.

This beer had a weird saison type flavor to it. Its supposed to be an easy drinking light beer but i think the fermentation temps cuased some of the fruity belgian yeast notes to overpower the beer. 99 calories? who cares? Most craft beer drinkers aren't on a diet. and most beer drinkers would just buy the bud light for half the price.

not sure what the goal of this beer is. Wasted money on a six pack, wont buy again

Poured from a bottle into a Pilsener glass.

Look - somewhat golden/light amber in color, clear, with low-ish carbonation and about half a finger of off-white colored foam that dissipates quickly.

Smell - crisp and malty smelling. Somewhat sweet maybe.

Taste and Mouthfeel - definitely more malty than hoppy, but in the finish there's a bit more of a bite in bitterness, but it's still not very overwhelming. A bit musky, but not really in a bad way. The mouthfeel is not very noticeable, and the texture is decently well-balanced.

Overall - not a bad brew, especially if it really is a light lager. Not terribly intriguing in the taste, but still, not bad-tasting either.

Thanks to largadeer for this amazing tick.

Clear golden color with a vanishing white head.

The aroma is very muted. Vegetal with some sweet malt, and that’s all.

This starts like Coors Light and finishes like...oh man. Just weird, vegetal and maybe rubbery or something.

Light and thin body with average carbonation.

A strange, strange beer at 99 calories. Indian Wells, man, that’s all you can say.

A: A mostly yellow golden color, very clear. Better looking body than most light lagers, but very little head. What head there was disappeared so fast I'm not even sure I remember what it looked like.

S: Straw. Something that reminds me of a Triple hits me upfront but doesn't stick around for long. Strange.

T: Again, the odd triple-like presence is up front for just a brief second. No idea how to describe. From there it's all straw and light graininess. Confusing tasting, but considering it's a light lager, it's a plus just to have taste in there at all.

M: A bit light on carbonation, light body with just a slight lingering presence.

D: Pretty decent drinkability, no bad aftertaste like a lot of light lagers, goes down easy. Can't find a reason to want another one though.

No abv on bottle, no brewed on date. Just directions to their website, which has even less info. Only information is that it has 99 calories. hooray, i guess. Really not bad for a light lager, but then that isn't generally saying too much.
