Paying homage to the classic North American West Coast IPA and the great Kananaskis outdoors, this beer has notes of citrus, bitterness and a balanced body. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer goes to support the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative.

Appearance - Pours an amber copper with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus, earthy, leafy, piney, floral, and weedy hops, light pine resin, grapefruit peel, lemon, bready malts, caramel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - moderate citrus, earthy, leafy, piney, floral, and weedy hops upfront. The pine resin is there but is not a total pine bomb. This IPA is leaning towards the bitter grapefruit peel spectrum which is not too shabby. The lemon, bready malts, and caramel follow suit. The brew is rounded out by the earthy yeast.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes a tad sticky with the hops and grapefruit peel and light pine resin lingering.
Overall - A nice crushable grapefruit, and light pine forward IPA. This one is definitely a starter for those that are more into the true west coast IPAs (pine, grapefruit peel). A brew that also supports a good cause.
